SCATTERED MINDS .....

...heretical, cantankerous,wild, hysterical,

hilarious, colorful, funny, adventurous, vain,
original, sexy, crazy, beautiful,,,,
slap any term in psychology and sociology...
 ...and it's all true folks!
And it's miles and miles of "bay to breakers".

my diagnosis is simple...
A great majority of the SF population
is stressed out on account of work,
or not working, of passionate relationships,
or the lack of it's magic, in search of the right person,
but there isn't any indication of a return to Peyton Place

not even a faint hello...

or in search of more money and power, etc.
disguised as nuns ...beautiful ladies texting their boyfriends...
which pretty much is the undercurrent throughout
the year.
"howdy!!"

And the only way to relieve itself of tension
is evident by what we see
every 3rd week of May or
Vesuvius it shall be.

the first call for bay to breakers....
becomes a PDQ signal....
looking to find a place in the sun after the march

It's beyond and within reason and insanity,
B.F.Skinner would be pleased to join the craze.

All segments of society including tourists
tourist posing at twin peaks
partake of the fun and pandemonium.
The energy is superfluous.
One feels powerless to stop it
should there be a desire.

Participants carry with them their fun filled
souls.
dressed up as militias.... waiting to be seated at Zazzie in Cole valley
Bohemians and non bohemians,
nourishment after miles of marching
the normal and the nut-so-normal.

it's quite a crazy weekend...

exhausted....waiting for a ride

somewhere near north beach....
SFAI commencement
exercises for 2015
were slightly a different kind
of mood....
the place was getting set up for the commencement
celebration
graduates with masters degree
are finally freed of the academic
shackles
and now have their full
time to devote to their
own kind of art.
the rooftop corner where my easel was set up earlier

group pic ops
graduates and guests packed the rooftops

more mementos

"what are your plans???"

plenty of wine, fun and laughter

the rooftop corner

Scene at the courtyard calebration

There goes Ozlem ...now with MFA

i don't know about you
but i think i'd call it a day
already...
after all, we all
have to return to the
normal functions
of life that
awaits us tomorrow

that's all folks!

abiento! adios!
hasta la vista!
auf Wiedersehen!

SUNDAYS….what in tarnation !!!!

Sundays are usually pretty quiet….
fruits on a hot day
after church fellowship…uhmmm love it !
the priest greeting the church goers after the mass

Foxes at Sharp Park

or so it seems….
Golfers at Sharp park enjoying the company of a fox
until something out of the ordinary ….
makes you think different…
Sharp Park Fox

i was on my way to continue my "plein air"session
view of Treasure Island and East Bay

when i felt the wind was too gusty while following
a tourist on
his way to twin peaks
Iowan plated car

so i thought to lax the day off and follow the crowd for
what might be exciting…
dismally..I admit, i'm that easy to convince
when a probable promise of excitement
can happen..even if it were  "sort'a might "...
after all,  Sundays
are a little too quiet at times…
San Francisco view atop twin peaks
and nothing could be more disturbing than that...
the strong wind blowing her skirt off at twin peaks
The Twin Peaks is a regular stop for tourists….
who enjoy the role of playing tourists,,,
they spend plenty of their saved money
for the city coffers...
tourists with warm coffee cups….
just don't fall over the cliff, folks!
other Sundays characterize the city ….
as if one is watching a rerun of "Dirty Harry",
"i'm just sunbathing officer"….

there's a good application of psychology and diplomacy

called for in this situation…
Guerrero and Market St scene

i got an interesting image for tweeter….

get him a new wardrobe,,,,

after a 3 hour stand off…
a promise of a new pair of blue jeans..
took care of the matters for the day….

Meanwhile in the Haight district…..

Yes , I guess we can say, we don't know a lot
about Sundays….

are these scenes indication of crises in life?
At a certain age,,,,we find ourselves at a crossroad….
where one believes and thinks,,,
there's not a step in either direction…
taken or not
would do any demonstrable difference or impact a
positive change and enlightenment.

In a  logic class in college, we called this a
"dilemma"….
it's about making a choice between two
equally undesirable alternatives….

(sometimes this is presented on
 desirable terms...
My ex gf awhile back offered me
"breast or thigh"?…)

Nowadays, the term used is euphemistically
called middle age crisis.
Yes, there's a void in life.
The truth is the person's psyche plays
itself out on his dismal lack of knowledge
and inability to create a remedy to his
perceived problematic situation .
His thinking is paralyzed, pretty much.
To some people, it may just be a simple case
of boredom or lack of sexual excitement,
a loveless state of affairs, some quacks call it
a simple case of ADD (attention deficit disorder).

One might be tempted to conclude life is not compellingly
interesting enough to continue…
and knowing the brevity of life,
one starts thinking,
"there's not a moment to lose"…
and goes out to pursue stupidly impulsive
acts to disturb the lull,
tourists at the De Young Museum

hoping it will lead to a worthwhile equilibrium,
though in equal probabilities,
it's opening an invitation to nightmarish disaster.
the storm that brought hope to the California drought

Patience not procrastination, is hereby a virtue worth
considering. It's waiting to see, how time with carefully
calculated response to dilemmas, will unfold.

On the one hand, society has the irresistible habit of clinging to the
argument that good will rise over evil.

Hence , we pit evil against God.
It is a very difficult way of leaving life to the
claws of uncertainty. So that when SNAFU
looms in the offing as a consequence of
inappropriate response,
we quickly switch over to the
non physical dimension and
conveniently succumb to relegating
matters to God for a good
outcome and believing He will
intervene.

There may in recorded chronicles be a basis
to sustain this spiritual idealism,,,but
to get there is truly perplexing
and necessitates an origin of  dilemmic situation.

By the way, neither breast or thigh
appealed to me…
they were both carbonized..
she'd never learn how
to grill chicken…

that's all folks!
