another frying day in Manila

good morning everyone!

it's 93 F and 61 humidity
Traffic is easy and smooth on the streets at this hour

i'm going to 1B apartment cafe later to pick up
gossips of the day. They have a special crowd  here.
The regulars are families who dine on friday nights
and weekends. Weekdays are the variables you know,
businessmen as well as women who talk about their men
while they are busy making a living, talk about fashion
and other things.
The ladies come in groups. I've so far seen only one
come in by herself  mostly they arrive in groups.
It's location is close to the Salcedo Park and about a short block
away from Starbucks. It's cozy and hardly has the look of
big corporates but has a large kitchen and customer
service staff. The coffee and pastries are good. Lunch
and dinner is also superb for business meetings and just
filling your own gastronomic concerns. It's Aussie.
The background music is jazz, standards and brazillian.
You can read your book, enjoy your coffee and people
watching without noticing time  My kind of place wouldn't
you say?
Except for the different language and color and weather
this joint is like Frisco. I love San Francisco. Clean air and
mysterious kind of foggy evenings with twilight colors that
look like Corot's painting. I must go back sometime.
This is my Russian friend and figurative model who posed
for the SF Pigments. Easel and Brush Society.

Folks. it's close to my coffee and crepe time.
I'll catch you later.
