SUNDAY IN NEW YORK and the FOG

The fog is back ...

this could mean the next three days
is cold and gloomy...daytime or nighttime...
drive carefully.

...the wool sweaters are in order...
to keep your body warm..

Cafes will definitely be packed
and the side business of meeting
a person of interest in the course of spending
your time in the cafe can happen

Cafes almost anywhere in the city had become a
safe social club to meet a perfect stranger and not
worry about anything...

as opposed to the bars on Friday nights where
instead of unwinding one gets anxiety or
what have you...I'm happy those nights
have substantially faded away...into the
dungeon of oblivion...

Steve Lin is playing his guitar at the Boulange Cafe...

It's no wonder cafes have prospered and are now
an entrenched structure in socialization for
almost anyone at any age

Has anyone wondered what to do on a foggy day?
There's always something to fend off the blues...i'm sure..
By sheer good timing ... today TCM showed the 1963

comedy Sunday in New York..and it just gave me the
glee for the day...reminded me too of another similar
romantic comedy Barefoot in the Park...which is another
Jane Fonda movie...a lot of these movies are wholesome
and entertaining to watch...sad part and we all have heard
this a dozen times...they don't make movies like this
anymore

If you haven't seen these movies and the
Billy Wilder directed ones ...i have a
feeling you're missing something...
Enjoy the fog...

i'll be in touch so you be in touch
